Established in 1974 as an iron carpentry company, Bieffe in 2005 began the production of turning parts.

1) Production monitoring

A state-of-the-art system is used at Bieffe to better optimize production and resources: the Mecmatica Metronome.

With Metronome, we can maximize production efficiency, reduce downtime and increase overall productivity. Metronome is a production management software that manages the entire active and passive production cycle by interfacing directly with the machine tool by detecting its production data in real time so as to provide accurate and reliable information at all times.

  • Resource status management (machines, operators, departments, etc.);
  • Monitoring the progress of orders/jobs in process;
  • Notifications of system-generated alarms (delays, inefficiencies, rejects, etc.).

2) Numerical control programming

Bieffe Ltd. uses Mastercam as its software for CNC programming of high-precision machining.

This software makes it possible to simulate the process, verify the correctness of the programs and identify any collisions or errors. This makes it possible to minimize production errors, avoid material waste and optimize production time. Mastercam’s simulation provides increased safety and enables optimization of CNC machine performance.
